In a trending DeFi market, it’s no surprise that exchanges wants to get in on the action. However, even Binance hasn’t developed well of the DeFi market.
With so many blockchains to choose from these days, blockchains of exchanges need to differentiate themselves to attract users and developers.
Nevertheless, the big userbase of exchanges gives a significant advantage over blockchains of projects that do not have their own exchanges.
Huobi

Bithumb announced plans to create it’s own chain and wants to create a value system.
Bithumb Chain will enable the transfer of value, flow of information and integrate business verticals among the blockchain ecosystem. Once up and running, the Bithumb chain will offer benefits including Exchange-as-a-Service (EaaS) and a profit-sharing protocol.

OKEx
On 12 November 2019, OKEx CEO Jay Hao has announced the production of OKChain and its decentralized exchange OKDEX. OKChain is a self-built blockchain infrastructure that is in the final stages of testing.
The exchange intends to use the blockchain to help the “unbanked by providing them basic financial services.”.
However, no data has yet been made publicly available.
Gate
Gatechain has successfully launched testnet on September 30 and released the wallet. GateChain eco comprises CateChain mainnet, GateChain DEX, GateChain Token (GT), wallets, etc.
Gatechain solves security issues such as losing private keys and asset being stolen. It aslo supports decentralized trading and cross-chain transfer among other core applications.
The main features of GateChain eco: transfer/payment, asset issuance, decentralized cross-chain transaction, asset safe storage, multi-signature, POS staking reward.
