According to Cryptoquant data, a market drop and subsequent recovery periods were accompanied by a steady issuance of Tether ERC-20.
Printings were performed in quantity ranging from 1M to 312M almost every day.
In total, from February 19, when BTC initially dropped below the $10,000 level, to May 7, when BTC touched $10,000 again, ≈ $3.67B of Tether ERC-20 was issued.
