Bitcoin Outperforms Ether by the Number of Active Addresses
As of August 3, the number of unique addresses (7D average) that were active in the Bitcoin blockchain surpasses Ether’s number of unique addresses by 79%:
1.01M in Bitcoin;
565k in Ether.
The current numbers of active BTC and ETH addresses are the largest amounts recorded since January 2018.
Nevertheless, Bitcoin didn’t surpass Ethereum in terms of YTD growth of active addresses:
120% in Ether;
57% in Bitcoin.
