Ripple Sold Zero XRP Onto Crypto Exchanges in Q4 2019
Ripple has published the quarterly XRP Markets Report.
Last quarter, total XRP sales were $13.08 million (USD) vs. $66.24 million in the previous quarter(80% drop).
Also, Ripple continued the pause of programmatic(exchange) sales, focusing on OTC sales with a few strategic partners, who are building XRP utility and liquidity in strategic regions including EMEA and Asia.
Exchange sales went down to zero in Q4, compared with $16.12 million in Q3.
Despite the fact that pressure on the exchanges has decreased, the Ripple price has fallen by 26.8% in the last three months. Also reported daily volume for XRP decreased in Q4 from Q3 2019.
In general, we can conclude that despite the Ripple actions, their price did not increase as much as most of the other altcoins during mini altcoin bull run earlier this year.
