The market cap of USD Coin (USDC), the stablecoin issued by the Centre consortium backed by Coinbase and Circle, has passed $1 billion and it’s now $1.038B.

This development represents a growth of 211% compared to the $334M in July 2019 and a 100% increase from the beginning of 2020.

Despite the growth, USDC is still far behind Tether, which market cap has surpassed $10B last week.
