The market cap of USD Coin (USDC), the stablecoin issued by the Centre consortium backed by Coinbase and Circle, has passed $2 billion and it’s now $2.06B.

This development represents a growth of 81% compared to $1.14B in August 2020.

Despite the growth, USDC is still far behind Tether (USDT), which market cap has already surpassed $14B.
