Questions from the CryptoRank team
#1. Can you tell us about SkyLaunch? What problems do you solve, both in the space and for the community?
Ollie: – Well there are a number of problems in the launchpad space today, and our plan is to tackle and solve them all! Problems like gas fees, chain restrictions, IDO allocation requirements, marketplace confusion, shilling tactics, and a lack of timeline support for promising projects. We have plans in place to solve each of these problems, and make the entire launchpad space a fairer, more simple investment environment for projects and investors alike.
#2. Could you briefly describe the milestones SkyLaunch has achieved, and about your upcoming plans?
Justin: – Well, it has been quite a journey and we are only getting started! So far we have had the pleasure to reach a 1.4m$ raised with a very promising cap table (you can check our medium to have the detail of our cap table). We are also extremely lucky to have a great team and our own developer! The platform is almost ready and we are going to soon send it for audit review. We are starting to plan our IDO that will take place in 2021 but we don’t have a precise date yet, so stay tuned.

#1. Where do you see your project in the future and what kind of problems do you think you will have solved? Why should an investor hodl your coin?
Ollie: – In addition to solving the problems we mentioned we would of course want to see SkyLaunch at the top of the launchpad market, but even more important is to see other launchpads step up and innovate with us. There will always be competition, it’s only natural, and we aim to set the standard for the future of the IDO. Another reason to hodl is one of our key features – on-chain score mining – a revolutionary new feature where holding and staking for longer periods rewards you in terms of IDO allocation. We have a dedicated Medium article explaining how this works in detail, take a look!
#2. Most Launchpads don’t care about users’ interests; they only worry about making money, therefore they launch complete garbage & collect their own launching fee. Most of these projects fail to cost investors loss. How can you ensure that good projects are launched on SkyLaunch?
Justin: – SkyLaunch will not even collect any fee at the beginning. We want to believe in the projects we are onboarding in the long term. We believe in crypto and we are not here for a quick flip. We prefer to invest in the project we onboard and allow them to access our numerous resources to help them achieve their goals. We also have Council members from very famous projects/VC funds that will have their say and vote on accepting or not a project. So I can assure you, we are not building garbage, we welcome investors and users and we promise you guys that we will look after you towards the projects we decide to onboard.
#3. There are many IDO platforms in the industry, but most of them do not give confidence to investors. How does SkyLaunch aim to instill confidence and how do you differ from them?
Ollie: – On this front, we have a number of key features that set us apart. The SkyLaunch dual-layer due-diligence council will ensure project quality, and our pre-IDO incubator coupled with our post-IDO Alliance program will ensure projects have the support and tools they need not only for a successful launch but to go on to grow and thrive in the crypto space.
Additionally, using our on-chain score mining, the IDO marketplace becomes a much fairer investment space at every level.
Questions from Telegram
#1. What processes must a project go through in order to be incubated in SkyLaunch, how do you research those projects, how is the R&D process managed?
Justin: – We have actually a “Portfolio Manager” who is in charge of analyzing the projects. We are being very “cocky” and “cautious” when we analyze a project, we look at the team, the tokenomics, the technology is also important to see the progress. We have a strict process before choosing to onboard a project or not and we really want to be seen as advisor/partner with the ongoing projects so we can also help them with our accelerator and alliance program.
#2. What advantages does your Launchpad offer for new projects that give you a competitive advantage over the existing Launchpad? IDO on some Launchpad is perceived to be unfair, so how is your platform going to ensure that its integrity is maintained by conducting a fair IDO?
Ollie: – Well, it comes down to 2 of the key features we bring to the space. Firstly, our due-diligence council will ensure our investors are only presented with quality projects. Secondly, our scoring system will ensure a level playing field for all investors.
#3. Can you tell a feature that you like best about the project so that it can compete with other competitors? What are you most confident about for your platform?
Ollie: – I think the feature that will be of the biggest benefit is that we offer total timeline support to projects. For pre-IDO, through a successful launch, to our post-IDO Alliance, projects will get the support they need which is great for them, and great for their investors.
