As the founder of Stratos, I have over 20+ years of experience in software development across multiple platforms and technologies.
Previously, I was the cloud team founder of MindGeek, where I built the complete big data ecosystem and led the entire team to provide data services to more than 100 millions users per day cross all the country in the world.

#1. Could you please tell us more about yourself and your experiences?

Bin Zhu: – I was also technical cofounded of Faimdata, an AI company providing consumer data intelligence solutions via computer vision for retailer customers. With experiences working across the generations of technology innovations, I am leading the Stratos team to build the next generation of decentralized data mesh that enables the uses of blockchain technology across industries.
By the way, please allow me to introduce Stratos team as well.
Stratos team is formed by a group AAA developers which come from Canadian National Railway, Amazon, Expedia, Huawei, Alibaba etc. Each of them has top enterprise level development experience.
Also, there are around 1/3 team members come from Mindgeek, they worked with me for the big data platform. Each team member will take advantage of rich developing experience to contribute to the Stratos project

#2. Can you tell us about Stratos? What problems do you solve, both in the space and for the community?

Bin Zhu: – This is a great and big question, thanks.

Stratos is a solid layer-0 infrastructure project which contains blockchain, decentralized storage, decentralized database and decentralized computation.

Stratos will be a solid infrastructure for the entire blockchain industry in a decentralized manner. The user and developers can combine the 4 different services together to customize their own product.
The goal about Stratos is to be the foundation (Decentralized Cloud) of Blockchain industry and help the blockchain industry to get rid of centralized Cloud service.
As an infrastructure project than a consumer project, so it is closer ToB than ToC. So basically user will use lots of application which is built on top of Stratos. At the same time, Stratos team will also implement Stratos product as well base on Stratos infrastructure.
Just as the earth needs air, water, soil, and sunlight, all things in the earth grow can’t without them. Stratos provides blockchain, storage, database, and computing services to the entire blockchain ecology, which will also greatly promote the entire blockchain and vigorous development of the blockchain industry.

#1. What are your major goals to achieve in the next 3-4 years? What are your plans to expand and gain more adoption? How do STRATOS elevate crypto participants’ understanding about project?

Bin Zhu: – The major goal is Stratos will be the most important decentralized infrastructure for blockchain industry, then let the blockchain industry to get rid of centralized cloud service.

#2. Communities like Asia, Africa, and other Non-English speaking communities, Do u have a local community for them to better understand your project?

Bin Zhu: – Stratos team is working on building more and more local communities cross the world, thanks

#3. What is the advantage of CDN Network for better usability and efficient delivery? How is this network different from other networks? Why does Stratos attach importance to Ledger technology, and how is the Stratos computing network different from the computing network used by other platforms?

Bin Zhu: – Stratos decentralized storage itself is an acceleration network, it’s a self-balanced and elastic network.

The network can increase/shrink the content replication number based the demand of traffic and also make the copies to the nodes which are close the traffic source automatically

The current CDN can’t offer those features and super expensive.

BTW, the Stratos network is built by people, not by a centralized organization, the network very be more organic and close to end-user, so it will be a real “edge network”, Stratos will make “people to serve people” be possible in the near future.

#4. Which technology is behind is responsible for protecting your platform?

The banks are trying to catch the DeFi train by starting kind of similar projects. What do you think about this intention to combine traditional finance withDeFi?

Bin Zhu: –DeFi is much safer than Exchange, but exchange user experience will be better than DeFi. Why?
DeFi  can’t save any user’s information, but exchange could do. Stratos decentralized database can offer the secured data store solution for DeFi , the ownership of customer’s data is still belong to the user instead of DeFi .

So the DeFi’s user experience will get better. Then I think in the future, the DeFi will have more traffics than centralized exchange and bank, which will be the big headache of each government. 😄

#5. How will your project generate a way to maintain profit/income? What is the revenue model? How does it benefit your project and investors?

Bin Zhu: – Stratos want to offer services to the traditional enterprise as well for generating more profit, also give the market a perfect sample.
